During their regular meeting Aug. 8, the Ridge View school board prepared not just for the challenges facing them in the upcoming school year, but exciting new opportunities as well.
At the high school, the district has hired four new teachers for math, science, band and agriculture, as well as a proctor for Spanish classes. They will hold an open house Aug. 22, during which time the principal will give an informational presentation for parents, and students will learn how to access online learning resources ahead of the school year’s start Aug. 24.
