Galva discusses RAGBRAI location

Representatives from RAGBRAI were out and about in Galva ahead of the rides’ visit to the area this summer.

City Council heard during its May 9 meeting that RAGBRAI organizers want to see activities for RAGBRAI take place on Main Street July 25.

Vendors for the event are also being eyed as thousands of visitors descend on the area.

Additionally, residents in the city will see some street work coming as Orange Cone Season returns to Iowa.

For Galva, patching and seal coating are slated.
