The Galva City Council met in special session on Jan. 3. In attendance was Mayor Wanberg and Council members Freese, Hustedt, Langel, and Wuebker.
The Council discussed the water/sewer line bids for 119 Sixth Street. Following discussion of the bid from Bainbridge Construction for $21,383.00. It was decided to dig by the fire hydrant to see if the water line extends west. The City is responsible for the shut off and the owner is responsible for the shut-off into the house. It was decided the city would pay to dig by the hydrant to locate the water line.
