Conservation sees camping decline

Expenditures are keeping with the budget for Ida County Conservation, but one factor for revenues is on the radar for the board.

During the June 13 meeting of the board, members heard that camping is “significantly lower” in 2022 compared to 2021.

A big drop in revenue could have a detrimental impact, so it’s an area that is being monitored.
