The Ridge View girls basketball squad couldn’t have played much better Friday night in Ida Grove, as they took a 14-0 lead after one quarter and built it to 20-0 before the Falcons scored a point. From that point on, the two teams played each other basically even as the Raptors led 31-10 at halftime and 42-19 after three quarters before coming away with the 52-31 victory.
The Ridge View girls basketball squad suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday night, losing to a very good Cherokee squad 68-45. The Braves jumped out to a 15-4 lead after one quarter, but the Raptors outscored Cherokee in the second quarter and went into halftime trailing 29-19. The Braves would come out strong in the second half, however, and extended the lead to 50-33 after three quarters before coming away with the 68-45 victory.
