OMAHA, NE - Judith “Judy” Ann Lohmeier, age 93, of Omaha, Nebraska (formerly of Ida Grove, Iowa) passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at the Esprit Whispering Ridge of Omaha, NE.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Ida Grove, Iowa.
HOLSTEIN - Sharon A. “Sherry” Juelfs, age 78, of Holstein, Iowa, (formerly of Cushing, Iowa) passed away on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center of Cherokee, Iowa.
IDA GROVE - Jack A. Wright, age 97, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at the Morningside Rehab and Care Center of Ida Grove, Iowa.
A Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa. Burial will take place at a later date.
DENISON - Vivian "Ione" Beaman was born May 25, 1920 to the late Frank and Edith (Fletcher) Nicholson in Monona County near Moorhead, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Dunlap Methodist Church in Dunlap, Iowa. She attended Kellogg Country School in Dunlap from Kindergarten to First Grade and then from Second Grade until Eighth Grade she attended school in Harrison County. Ione graduated Dunlap High School with the Class of 1938.
IDA GROVE - Greta Mae Tollas, 90, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA. Memorial services were held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale, Iowa. Private inurnment will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ida Grove, IA at a later date.
