Dolores A. Meyer, age 92, of Holstein, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society of Holstein. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Holstein with the Pastor Bob Lewis officiating. Burial was at the Holstein Cemetery of Holstein. A visitation was prior to the service at 2:30 PM at the church. The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein was in charge of the arrangements.
WEST DES MOINES - On Aug. 22, 2023, Dorothy Cecelia Kahl, 102, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Valley Church, 4343 Fuller Rd., West Des Moines.
Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery, rural Cherokee, on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, at 11 a.m.
AMES - Lois Marie Barghols Vohs passed away on June 21 at the age of 98, with family by her side. A Celebration of life will be held on July 24, 2023, at the Northcrest Grand Room 2310 Northcrest Pkwy, Ames, Iowa from 4-6 p.m. A private burial will be held.
She was the daughter of Ben and Hilda Barghols from Holstein, Iowa.
